About Us
My name is Amanda Belfield, owner and operator of Take Care Transport. I am a farm wife, mother, and business professional who recently uncovered the difficulties of finding rural and private transportation during busy times on the farm. Those closest to me know my given gift to encourage, care and connect with people. I am driven to serve others in the most caring and responsible way. I have organized this professional service using knowledge from my Masters of Science (MSA) in Accounting from Illinois State University, Bachelors of Science (BS) in Accounting from University of Wyoming, and 25 years business experience as an audit, insurance, process improvement and real estate broker professional. Additionally, I have lived in Northeast Missouri for 20 years and know the service areas very well.

Service Guidelines
The ride is paid at pick up. An in-car payment system of credit and debit card, and cash is accepted. A receipt is provided after payment should you need reimbursement by insurance or employer.
This is a curb to curb private transportation service provider but can assist you upon request door to door, in and out of the vehicle, and with breaking down any needed items to stow and safely secure in the black Lincoln Nautilus.
Operating hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. 24 hour/7 days a week requests are available for ER discharge pick up service and certain special circumstances.
This credentialed service is permitted in each service city and/or county with detailed vehicle inspections, driver background and driving history checks, first aid/cpr driver certification, and maintains state financial responsibility insurance limits.
Your driver is not only friendly, professional, encouraging, but very familiar with the service area and holds a commercial driver’s license. The driver will keep a device in the vehicle to assist passengers with this website and service.
All passengers who ride with Take Care Transport consent to a liability waiver releasing Take Care Transport and their employees from any liability in the entire transport experience. Should the driver deem the service can not be safely provided, the driver reserves the right to deny the service prior to or during the ride per the waiver policy.
A caretaker or additional passenger is welcome at no extra cost. If the passenger being transported is under the age of 18, a guardian will be required for the ride and further details of the service will be provided.
